漢水一帶近來雨水很多，
江頭此刻應該吹著和風。
我想你在這時節，
正揚帆起航，追隨著孤飛的鴻雁。
像翱翔的巨龍壓過滔天巨浪，
像彩繪的船頭劃破萬里長空。
男兒志在四方，
生來就應立下射穿蓬蒿桑葉般的遠大志向。
你爲何遲遲還未歸來？
我的心中只有深深的憂慮。
怎樣才能得到百頃良田，
稍稍靠近那五老峯旁。
早早寫下《歸去來兮辭》，
與你一同成爲採擷靈芝的老翁。

By the Han River, rain has fallen of late;
At the river's head, fair winds should await.
I imagine you now, in this season's grace,
Hoisting sail, following a lone wild goose's trace.
Like a soaring dragon, you press the great waves;
Like a painted waterfowl, you cleave the vast sky's caves.
A man's ambition lies in roaming the world wide;
In youth, he aims at mulberry and arrowweed, his fate to decide.
Why have you been so long in your return?
My heart is filled with worry, which makes me deeply yearn.
If only I had a hundred acres of land,
Close to the Five Elders Peak, where I could stand.
I'd compose an early ode to 'Coming Home' with delight,
And join you as an old man, gathering herbs in the mountain's light.
