恆河上的世界如同水面的泡沫，虛幻不實，
茫茫眾生長久以來一直在生死輪迴中漂泊流浪。
就像老蠶吐絲作繭，自己將自己纏繞束縛，
又像枯朽的樹木生出蛀蟲，彼此糾纏，互不放過。
那本應靜止的靈泉，被狂風震盪得不得安寧，
那本應昭明的慧日，被浮雲遮蔽得不見光明。
但我告訴諸位，切莫因此而感到惆悵失落，
因為煩惱與菩提，本質上乃是同一實相。

The world on the Ganges is but a floating bubble,
Vast multitudes have long been drifting in the cycle of rebirth.
Like an old silkworm spinning its own cocoon, entangled in itself,
Or a withered tree infested with worms, refusing to let go.
The tranquil spiritual spring is stirred by the wind's tumult,
The bright sun of wisdom is obscured by clouds of delusion.
Yet I tell you all, do not be disheartened or dismayed,
For affliction and enlightenment are but one and the same face.
