山川阻隔，望不見石泉城，
風和日麗中，彷彿看見旌旗在搖曳飄動。
鳳凰年老，尋找著丹穴來棲息，
駿馬飢餓，仍要向著赤霄高處前行。
隆冬的霜雪，傷害了漂泊的浮萍，
末路的塵埃，讓我懷念起車蓋的遮護。
父老鄉親只知道以錦繡官服為榮，
鄉里之人還不懂得登上瀛洲的尊貴。

Mountains and streams hide Shi Quan City from my sight;
Wind and sun sway, and I recall your banners' flight.
The phoenix old seeks its red cave for nightly rest;
The starving steed climbs the red sky on its hard quest.
In deep winter, frost and snow hurt the duckweed's float;
At journey's end, dust and dirt make me miss your cover.
The elders only know the glory of broidered coat;
My fellow villagers don't grasp the scholar's honor.
