古今的寥廓景象都歸於談笑之中，
氣象縱橫，費盡心思剪裁。
愁緒如日，遠隨一雙錦翼而去，
離情滿懷，寄託於百金酒杯。
清風正引我向城頭眺望，
淮上的車馬聲幾日能來？

On Huai's sky, waves spent, the waters linger.
Past and present, vast and empty, return to talk and laughter,
The scene's grandeur costs much to tailor and trim.
Sorrow's sun drifts far with a pair of brocade wings,
Parting feelings brim in a hundred golden cups.
A clear breeze lifts my gaze from the city wall—
When will the sound of carts from Huai come again?
