雞在秋天的屋外啼鳴，
牛躺在夕陽西下的田邊。
溪邊的樹木爭相結出豐碩的果實，
村釀的酒價格低廉不值什麼錢。
幸好沒有征戰徭役的痛苦，
痛快一醉，歡慶這豐收之年。

Thousands of bushels fill the barns today.
Cocks crow outside the autumn hut so still,
Oxen lie down beside the sunset hill.
By the stream, trees vie in bearing fruit so fine,
Village brew costs but a humble coin to dine.

We revel drunk in the joy of harvest's gain.
