期望能修補我的殘缺，攀附您德行的馨香。
時常派遣長鬚僕人送上雙鯉書信；

Peach and plum roots feel ashamed to rely beside you.
Dazzling essays unfold like splendid brocade;
Transcendent integrity withstands severe frost.
My deaf ears, not yet divined, long to hear your elegant talk;
To mend my mutilation, I hope to climb near your fragrant virtue.
From time to time, I send a long-bearded servant with a pair of carps;
Do not spare your new poems, let me ponder them again and again.
