東山腳下，海潮與溪水相通，
一片江流仿佛從明鏡中湧現而出。
翻過山嶺，孩童一邊拾柴一邊歌唱；
暮煙之中，村翁趕著牛犢行走。
千年的古橋鎖住了隱士高人的足跡；
百丈高岩垂掛著貞烈女子的遺風。
此去天台山不知還有多少路程，
在桃花深處，我迷失了東西方向。

Beneath the Eastern Hill, the sea tide flows and meets the stream,
A stretch of river emerges as if from a mirror's gleam.
Across the ridge, a child gathers firewood, singing a song;
Through mist, an old herdsman drives his calf along.
For ages, the bridge has locked the traces of the recluse's feet;
From the towering cliff hangs the chaste lady's tale, austere and fleet.
How far from here to the Tiantai peaks, I cannot tell—
Where peach blossoms bloom deep, I lose my way, under their spell.
