晴朗的江面映照著淡淡的夕陽，
一對鷗鳥雙雙飛向遠方。
它們雙雙飛翔，仿佛有歸處可尋，
但一同棲息，又將去往何方？
沙洲寒冷，霧氣瀰漫籠罩，
江水退落，沙灘變得潮溼低洼。
它們不躲避靠近行駛的船隻，
想必是心中少有憂慮牽掛。

A pair of gulls in flight together go.
Flying together as if they had a home to find,
But where to rest together is left undefined.
The islet chills in mist that thickly veils the shore;
The river falls, the sand turns damp and poor.
They do not shun the passing boats that draw so near,
Their minds, one knows, must harbor little fear.
