它那'不如歸去'的啼叫聲，
也是自古以來就在流傳的話語。
在月下的樹林裡，它的啼叫正變得急促；
山中的房舍裡，客居的人還未入睡。
它還要將口中的鮮血，
滴向野花，使它們更加鮮豔。

That for a thousand springs transformed into the cuckoo's art.
"Better return home," its call does ever say,
A message passed down since ancient day.
Beneath the moonlit trees, its weeping grows intense;
In the mountain lodge, the sleepless guest feels the suspense.
It still will take the blood within its beak,
And drip it on wild flowers, making them unique.
