曾經居住在昭陽殿裡頭，
不知哪一年，芬芳的屍骨掩埋在這荒丘。
空傳你已回歸碧落成仙而去，
可有誰見你隨從帝王遨遊蒼梧？
鸞閣中脂粉消散，塵影暗淡，
蜃爐里香氣冷卻，石人哀愁。
在風前我不敢攀折梅花，
仍恐怕君王的恩寵還未罷休。

Once dwelling within the Zhaoyang Palace hall,
In what year was your fragrant bone buried 'neath this barren mound?
In vain they say you soared to azure skies, a fairy gone;
But who has seen you roam Cangwu, following the emperor's round?
The phoenix tower's powder fades, dust dims its shadowed trace;
The incense burner cold, stone figures bear a mournful face.
I dare not break a plum branch in the wind before this place,
Still fearing that your sovereign's favor might not yet efface.
