虎踞龍蟠的形勝如今就在眼前，
往日的宮闕依然鎖在寒冷的煙靄之中。
渡口邊鼓角聲增添了新的戍守，
道路上笙簫之樂卻比往年減少。
從高塔上可以直接眺望淮河對岸的境地，
面對斷碑，閒來追憶晉朝的諸位賢人。
我來到這裡，仍欣喜於秋日豐收的景象，
魚蟹可以賒購，滿滿地堆放在市集旁邊。

As of old, the palace gates are locked in chilly haze.
At the ferry, drums and horns announce new garrison's rise;
On the road, pipes and flutes dwindle, fading old year's days.
From the high pagoda, I gaze at the Huai River's land;
Broken steles idly recall the Jin Dynasty's wise band.
I come, still gladdened by the autumn's fruitful sight;
Fish and crabs for credit abound, filling the market's edge with light.
