江水如丁字形匯合在城角，
長久畏懼蛟龍掀起巨浪而來。
在城門前祭奠河川姑且祈禱，
職責在於體察民瘼，慚愧自己並非良才。
兩處灘涂潮水漲定後沙痕泛白，
七里山色放晴，霧雨消散開來。
放出庾家樓閣上的一輪明月，
卻讓賓客與隨從稍作徘徊，不忍離開。

I've long feared dragons stirring waves to rise and fall.
Before the gate, I pray to calm the river's flow,
In office, seeking cure for ills, my lack I know.
Two shoals, the tide now fixed, show white marks in the sand,
Seven-mile hills clear up as misty rains disband.
It releases the moon atop the Yu's tower high,
Yet bids my guests and me to linger with a sigh.
