移動門庭以避開賓客，又能怎樣呢？
在晴朗的台階上，我仰臥著曬太陽，身旁是紅艷的芍藥；
野外的水邊，船隻經過，白色的魚兒躍出水面。
多病的我，姑且聽聽箍桶匠的閒談；
得空的時候，便翻閱養生的書籍。
平生未能盡享幽居的興致；
只好託付給長江，去拯救那垂釣的車駕。

Singing and shouting from the neighboring wall, let them be as they will;
Moving my gate to avoid guests, what difference does it make?
On sunny steps, I lie facing the sun, amidst the peonies red;
By the wild waters, a boat passes, white fish leap in its trail.
Often ill, I listen to the barrel-maker's idle talk;
In leisure moments, I draw near to books on nurturing life.
All my life, the joy of secluded dwelling remains unfulfilled;
Entrusted to the long river, I save a fishing cart from the waves.
