姿態橫截江面，如虎踞之足，
白龜退卻行走，河伯馮夷爲之哭泣。
大江當時波濤洶湧翻滾，
這石頭卻如此獨自承受天命。
水與石頭撞擊沒有完結之時，
因危難而顯現節操，才見其奇特。
世間大有像胡廣那樣的人，
欠讀我這山澗之民所作的江石詩。

The white turtle retreats, the river god Feng Yi weeps.
The great river's waves once surged turbulently then,
This rock alone received such a fate, standing firm.
Water and stone clash without end,
Through peril its integrity is seen, revealing its marvel.
The world has many like Hu Guang and his ilk,
They've failed to read the poem of the river rock by the ravine-dweller.
