尋找僧人一同在清靜的夜晚談論，
清掃牆壁，閒來尋覓往昔題寫的詩篇。
一匹瘦馬在秋風中進入條山與華山，
一葉孤舟在暮雪中垂釣於湘江與灕江。
只憂愁又要踏上關隘河川的道路，
荊棘叢生與銅駝荒廢的景象使我悲傷。

I only fear treading again the roads of frontier passes and rivers,
