江邊漁家搭建了一座茅草屋；
門前青山如畫，畫作也比不上。
江上煙靄淡淡，疏雨零零落落；
老翁破浪前行，外出捕魚。
遺憾他生來不曾讀書；
面對如此江山，竟沒有一句詩。
我也衰老遲鈍，慚愧自己的筆力；
與他一同對著江山，發出三聲嘆息。

Green hills before the door—no painting can compare.
Mist on the river lies faint, rain falls sparse and light;
An old man braves the waves, rowing out to catch fish.
I regret that he was born without reading books;

I too, in my decline, ashamed of my writing strength,
Together with him, sigh thrice over the landscape.
