我平素的志向在於超脫於俗世人羣之外；
以清靜的心境，遨遊於萬物初始的狀態之中。
我尚且看輕天上的福分；
又怎會去研習世間追名逐利的書籍？
挑揀薺菜，用來做成餅食；
採摘槐樹的嫩芽，製作成醃菜。
早晚兩餐後，我都按摩腹部；
可不要嘲笑我這樣幽居的生活啊。

I even hold the bliss of heaven in light esteem;
