我將床移到曲欄前，酒水灑地，
穿著葛布衣衫，清爽蕭散，帽子歪戴。
庭院空寂，秋日臨近，露水沾溼了草，
月亮落下，夜將盡時，繁星佈滿天空。
靜靜地等待微風停息，好收起素白的扇子，
隨即用寒冽的泉水漱口，消除殘存的酒意。
超然自在，與塵世的汙濁遠離，
何必去學那騎鯨的水仙，追求成仙之道。

Moving my bed, I sprinkle the ground before the winding rail;
In linen robe, refreshed, I tilt my cap without a care.
The courtyard empty, autumn near, dew moistens grasses pale;
The moon has set, the night grows late, the sky is full of stars fair.
Quietly I wait for the mild breeze to still my plain fan's sway,
Then rinse away the dregs of wine with water cold and clear.
Aloof and free, I distance myself from worldly fray—
Why need I ride a whale to learn the ways of water-seer?
