昏沉的殘夢帶著未消的酒意漸漸散去，
披散頭髮、披著衣服，我坐著等待天明。
城頭的號角聲漸漸停歇，銀河也慢慢隱沒，
海上霧氣消散殆盡，太陽剛剛開始升起。
老農自己就能體會當年農耕的樂趣，
癡愚之人卻還在爭奪後世的名聲。
不要怪我常常閉門不出、懶於外出，
試問如今這高車華蓋，又是爲誰而傾覆？

Hair disheveled, robe draped, I sit waiting for the break of day.
The city horn's last note fades, the River of Stars grows dim;
The sea's miasma clears, the newborn sun begins to brim.
The old farmer finds joy in the seasons as they roll;
The foolish strive for fame to be remembered by the soul.
Don't wonder why I shut my door and seldom go outside;
For whom, in these times, should the carriage canopy be spread wide?
