一兩枝梅花已經綻放，
沿著溪水穿過山塢，每每歸來很晚。
我這老邁的身體健朗得如同中年時一樣；
鄉間的風俗淳樸得仿佛上古時代。
上奏的疏文，清狂不羈，已不復往昔；
手按馬鞍，精神矍鑠，又想向誰誇耀呢？
還有一事仍被鄰家老翁取笑——
無事時長久吟詩，耗費工夫捻弄鬍鬚。

Along the creek, through the dale, I'm often late returning.
My old frame is as hale as in my middle years;
