我平生所到之處，都充滿了艱難險阻，
如今上天讓我在晚年得以快樂地歸隱故山。
每逢社日，村村相連，飽餐酒肉，
豐收之年，沒有盜賊潛伏在茅草叢中。
秋天來臨，屋樑上的燕子帶著雛鳥飛走了，
雨過天晴，林中的斑鳩呼喚著伴侶歸來。
我也穿著葛布衣裳，剛剛沐浴完畢，
爲你，心滿意足地述說這份清閒自在。

Throughout my life, I've roamed through many a rugged pass,
Heaven now grants my twilight years to find joy in my native hills.
On village festival days, every hamlet feasts on wine and meat,
In this bountiful year, no thieves lurk in the thatch and reeds.
As autumn comes, the swallows in the beams take their fledglings away,
After the rain, the wood doves call their mates to return.
I too, in my hempen robe, fresh from a bath,
For you, with full contentment, speak of this pure leisure.
