花開時姑且飲酒自娛，
睡醒後獨自點燃香爐。
集市喧囂聲遙遠而寂靜，
鄉村的日子悠長而閒舒。
我雖衰老還有什麼遺憾？
兒女們已懂得耕田織布。

At dawn I read a hexagram from the Book of Change;
From time to time I copy several lines of history.
When flowers bloom, I take some wine to drink at leisure;
Awake from sleep, alone I burn some incense quietly.
The market noise is far, leaving a stillness deep;
The village day stretches in a serene, endless flow.
What regret should I have in my declining years?
My children know well how to plough and weave, you know.
