三峽的雄偉景象到這裡就窮盡了，
兩岸的峭壁依然陡峭地矗立著。
商船不時地停止航行，
婦女在夜間用瓦罐汲水。
風吹動，樹影搖曳，
月光在湍急的水流上破碎。
草尖上綴著細微的露珠，
螢火蟲飛舞，閃閃發光。
我的行程已經四十天了，
才抵達楚國西邊的城邑。
我放聲高歌以驅散心中的鬱結，
回到船上，才發覺衣衫已被露水沾溼。

The Three Gorges end here, their grandeur spent,
Two cliffs still stand, steep and precipitous.
Trading boats at times cease their movement,
Women at night draw water with their jars.
Wind stirs, and tree shadows dance and sway,
Moonlight shatters on the swift-flowing stream.
Dewdrops cling to the tips of grass roots,
Fireflies flit and glimmer, sparkling bright.
Forty days my journey has lasted now,
Just reaching this western town of Chu.
I sing aloud to dispel pent-up gloom,
Back on the boat, I feel my robe damp with dew.
