晚年隱於農桑生活卻不自知。
報效國家的志向雖依然堅定，
身體卻驟然衰老，讀書未倦而眼力先衰。
雲霧深鎖山嶺，樵夫歸家已晚，
細雨濛濛，江亭邊的渡船遲遲出發。
尚有一事可以慰藉我的孤寂，
傾倒錦囊，裡面正有新的詩篇。

My carriage tracks once spanned the world in youthful quest,
Now, unaware, I'm midst the farms in my late rest.
Though my resolve to serve the state remains steadfast,
My body ages fast, and eyes tire from books' behest.
Deep in clouded hills, woodmen return late from the height,
In fine rain, the river ferry delays its twilight.
One thing still consoles my solitude and plight:
New verses pour from my brocade bag, a poet's light.
