今年秋天陰天很多，
還遠不能斷定是豐收還是歉收。
時常飄來一片雲，
又化作幾點雨落下。
傍晚時分，晴空頗爲穩固，
天空碧藍得如同染過一般。
微風吹過樹林的梢頭，
斜陽掛在山巒的邊緣。
農家修築完打穀場後，
竭盡全力從事收穫貯藏的農事。
貪睡的我實在感到慚愧，
書齋的門扉在漫長的白日裡也長久掩閉。

Still uncertain if harvest will be rich or poor.
Time and again, a patch of cloud appears,
Then turns into a scattering of raindrops.
Evening brings a firm and lasting clearness,
The sky's expanse is blue as if dyed.
A gentle breeze passes over the treetops,
The slanting sun rests on the mountain's rim.
Farmers finish building their threshing grounds,
Exhausted, they set about gathering the yield.
Ashamed am I, who loves to sleep late,
My study door stays shut through the long day.
