今年竟在夢中回到了巴東故地。
親身遊歷這九死一生的險境，
道路蜿蜒進入千峯百嶂的羣山之中。
鄰船有時會過來借個火種，
沿途叢祠里處處都在祈禱順風。
晚潮時分又將船停泊在淮南岸，
落日下烏鴉啼叫，戍樓的城牆空空蕩蕩。

This year in dreams I've reached the east of Ba in my mind.
My body wanders through lands of ten thousand deaths, one life spared,
The road winds into a thousand peaks, a hundred ridges ensnared.

At every village shrine, prayers for wind rise in the night.
Evening tide moors me again by Huainan's southern shore,
The setting sun, crows caw, the empty battlements stand forlorn.
