小小的屋舍，幽靜的棲居，正與我的笨拙相宜，
讀書寫字，陪伴著孩子嬉戲。
自己已沒有感嘆年老、嗟嘆卑微的心意，
卻欣喜於分享冬日，守候歲末的時光。
羹湯芳香鮮美，用的是新射下的大雁，
衣裳輕軟暖和，來自自己繅的絲。
農家歲末的生活真是值得快樂，
說給達官貴人聽，他們未必知曉。

A small lodge, secluded dwelling, suits my clumsiness well,
Reading books and writing characters, I play with my child as well.
I no longer have the mood to sigh at age or lowly state,
But rather rejoice to share the winter and keep watch for the year's date.
The soup is fragrant and fresh with newly shot wild geese,
My clothes and jackets light and warm, from silk I reeled by myself with ease.
A farmer's household at year's end is truly a joy to tell,
Speaking of it to dukes and ministers, they might not know it well.
