睡眠的滋味甜美如蜜，
而人情世故卻冷淡似水。
流逝的歲月已迫近耄耋之年，
客居他鄉的遊子本就多感傷。
偶爾也會興起參與鄉村雞豚社祭的念頭，
但心中對筆墨文章之事的熱情已漸趨闌珊。
我的孩子們，姑且專心致力於農耕吧，
不要去羨慕那些官笏堆滿床榻的顯貴。

A wanderer's heart is laden with constant care.
At times, I long for feasts with fowl and swine in the village fair,
