北邊和東邊田埂上的好兄弟們，
到了老年，有幸還能主持這鄉里的盟約。
一同品嚐春韭和秋菘的滋味，
共同聆聽清晨猿啼與夜晚鶴鳴的聲音。
百代之後也不會忘記耕田種地的本業，
時常備一壺酒，敘說鄉里間的情誼。
孫兒們識字讀書，我便心滿意足，
哪裡還需要追求如大鵬搏擊九萬里的前程？

In old age, luckily, we renew our pledge fair.
