用枳棘綑紮成籬笆，用荊條做成門，
居處如此蕭條，怎麼招待諸位客人呢？
辭官歸鄉正好能追求我的志趣，
年老多病仍能誦讀所學的見聞。
經霜的紫蟹在徑上爬行，滿一尺長，
脫水的白魚每條都重達一斤以上。
滿杯瀲灩的美酒，不推辭一醉，
秋糧豐收登場，正該記功慶賀。

In such desolation, how can I entertain you, my guests?
