肘後的玉函醫書全無功效；
我常將奇妙的藥方寄託於傲然長嘯之中。
在衫袖間把玩橙子，清香通徹鼻觀；
在枕囊里貯藏菊花，治癒頭風之疾。
新詩吟罷，愁緒仿佛被洗淨；
遇到好景致，病痛幾乎要消散無蹤。
反倒羨慕那位龍鍾老態的布衣客，
從堤壩西邊賣藥直到村子東頭。

The jade-case recipes behind the elbow bring no gain;
I often lodge strange cures in proud and carefree song.
Sleeves hold an orange, its scent clears the nasal domain;
Pillow-stored chrysanthemums cure headaches, right the wrong.
A new verse chanted, sorrow washes clean away;
Fine scenes encountered, sickness seems about to flee.
Yet I envy that stooped man in cloth robe, I say,
Who sells his herbs from west to east of village levee.
