珍貴的薰香在清夜升起氤氳煙氣，
寂靜的中庭裡，它伴著月光的痕跡。
砍下一小塊沉香，並非為了戲水，
隨即打開山麝香，把它放置在當門之處。
割取蜜房之時，春光正好過半，
收得花露之際，太陽尚未升起。
怎能與故人一同會面交談，
在一盞燈下相對，靜看雲氣聚散。

The honeycomb is halved when spring is at its prime,

How I wish my old friend were here for a tête-à-tête,
