我信步閒遊，偶然發現一座幽靜的寺廟，
步入山門，便聞到斷續飄來的香氣。
山林幽深，栗鼠在其中矯健地跳躍，
屋宇古老，瓦松在簷上長得修長。
憑弔古蹟，更增添了我心中的淒涼與悲傷，
登高遠眺，寄託我慷慨激昂的胸懷。
匆匆而來，遊興尚未盡興，
一彎新月已映照在方形的池塘上。

Entering the gate, I smell the lingering incense.
In the deep woods, the squirrels are spry and bold,
On the aged roof, the stonecrop grows immense.
Mourning the past adds to my sorrow and pain,

In haste, my rising mood is not yet complete,
The new moon shines upon the square pond, so sweet.
