落日時分，林間傳來簫鼓之聲，
村村舉行社祭，慶祝西邊的收成。
老人扶著已長大、頭髮紮成兩角髻的兒子，
灌溉的水渠修成，可供千對農人耕作。
家家接受一份田地，經營本業，
鄉里推舉三位長者主持盟約。
日日聽聞淮河、潁水之地重歸王道教化，
要讓新歸附的百姓認識太平盛世。

The old man leans on his son, whose hair in tufts is bound;
The irrigation channels feed a thousand ploughs around.

We hear the Huai and Ying now to the king's rule swayed—
