將軍奉詔率領全軍出征。
精雕的金飾裝點著八尺高的戰馬，
鮮豔的刺繡在五丈大旗上鮮明奪目。
號令從飛狐口、上谷郡迅速傳開，
蕭關、積石山一帶城牆和女牆森然排列。
想來幕府中不會缺少像班固那樣的文士，
不久便會在燕然山上刻石記功、題寫頌詩。

The general, by decree, leads forth the entire host.
His steed, eight feet tall, gleams with gold trappings rare.
His banners, fifty feet, with bright embroidery boast.
From Shanggu to Feihu, the orders swiftly fly.
At Xiaoguan and Jishi, walls and ramparts stand high.
Surely the headquarters has its Ban Gu, a scribe of fame,
Who'll soon carve a victory ode on Mount Yanran's frame.
