葵菜和莧菜已盛放在盤中，酒錢還可以賒欠；
哪裡料到拖著病體，又要離開家園。
清晨出行，洶湧的浪頭猛烈拍打著堤岸；
夜晚投宿，遙望天際，北斗星的柄柄已然斜懸。
我並不悔恨在山林間虛度了漫長歲月；
只是悲嘆前行道路上，風沙困阻，舉步維艱。
鄰家的老翁，勞煩您為我照看田間的壟畝；
就此東歸而去，且以一笑化解這紛擾喧闐。

Mallow and amaranth grace the plate, wine can be bought on credit;
Who knew, in sickness, I must leave home again, beset by regret.
Morning travel: waves pound the shore, their crests fierce and malign;
Night's lodging: the Dipper's handle slants, hanging from heaven's design.
I do not resent the years drowned in mountains and woods' embrace;
But grieve that the road is trapped by wind and sand in this barren place.
Kindly neighbors, please watch over my plowed fields while I'm away;
Eastward I go, returning with a laugh that will end this fray.
