整個秋天，風雨遮蔽了明亮的日光，
積水茫茫，鬼神也爲這極陰之象發愁。
寒蟬在潮溼的草根處悲切地鳴叫，
水鳥在幽暗的茭白叢深處哀哭。
暮年不知不覺中看著日月流逝，
病弱的身體只憂愁霜露的侵襲。
常常用稀粥支撐著度過早晚，
哪裡還有一絲一毫年輕時的雄心呢？

The flooded world, a realm where ghosts and gods lament the endless night.
Cold cicadas mourn, the grass roots soaked in sorrow's dew,
Waterfowl cry in the dark, where deep in sedge they rue.
Unnoticed, the fading year with sun and moon slips by,
My ailing frame fears but the frost and dew's chill drawing nigh.
A simple gruel sustains me through each dawn and dusk's decline,
Not a trace remains now of that youthful heart once mine.
