無情的燕子已離巢，不再飛回；
庭院裡，楸樹和槐樹的葉子每日飄落。
新來的涼意讓我欣喜，正好償還觀摩碑刻的文債；
但多病之身仍讓我擔憂藥材不足。
秋社將近，我在家中濾好濁酒；
有客來訪，我便親自清掃青苔小徑。
求道之心已然純熟，機巧之心早已除盡；
寄語那鸕鷀：不必苦苦猜測我的心意。

The heartless swallows have left their nest, never to return;
Day after day, elm and catalpa leaves fall in my courtyard.
I'm glad the cool autumn helps me pay my debt to steles;
Yet my illness makes me worry about lacking medicine.
As the village festival nears, I brew turbid wine at home;
When a guest comes, I sweep the moss off the path myself.
My mind is now attuned to the Way, free from worldly schemes;
I tell the cormorant: don't strain to guess my thoughts.
