西山砍柴的小路被層層雲霧隔斷，
溪水在微風吹拂下泛起細密的波紋。
暑熱消退，忽然驚覺秋天已漸漸深了，
夜晚變長，已經與白晝等分。
用茭白做飯，全家人都很高興，
從鄰近的屋舍傳來搗衣聲，催促著寒意的到來。
新做了個燈籠，學著僧人的樣式，
與兒子一同鞭策，爭取讀書的功勳。
