亂葉敲打窗戶，寒意確鑿地來臨，
昏暗的燈照著帷幔，夢境空虛無聊。
馬槽邊的老駿馬雄心空在，
竈下燒殘的桐木琴尾已半焦。
百種感慨忽然湧起，推開枕頭起身，
只見碧藍夜空中的銀河正遙遠迢迢。

My sickly frame can't bear the slanders that have appalled.
Wild leaves beat the window, a sure sign of cold's reign,
A dim lamp lights the curtain, dreams are bored and inane.

A scorched tail 'neath the hearth, the phoenix-tune half rent.
A hundred feelings surge—I push the pillow, rise;
The azure sky, the Silver River spans the vast skies.
