蓬萊仙島般的舊日隱居已漸漸模糊，
浪跡於紛擾紅塵，歡樂卻未有盡頭。
在山南縱情飲酒，一醉千日，
在劍閣之外賞花，狂放十年。
刻燭限時寫成的新詩令詞客驚嘆，
駿馬追風般馳騁在蹴鞠場上嬉戲。
這些方才是世間男兒應做之事，
不該在台省官署中競相追逐高飛。

I roam the dusty world, my joy still new.
Drunk for a thousand days south of the hill,
