蟬鳴到了傍晚更加響亮，
烏鴉棲息已久卻仍未安寧。
不能乘著小船浮游而去，
只好故意倚靠著欄杆。
露水沉重，壓彎了荷葉如傘蓋；
風勢尖利，吹皺了芡實如盤葉。
新到的秋天觸動了歸鄉的思緒，
更覺得五湖之地是那麼寬廣。

The crows, though perched for long, find no rest at all.
Unable to float my tiny boat and roam,
I lean against the rail, here at home.

The new autumn stirs thoughts of returning free;
All the more I feel the Five Lakes' wide embrace.
