我這老農正想要涵養自然平和的心境。
穿過樹林，仿佛聽到孫登那悠長的嘯聲在迴蕩；
敲擊牛角，又似聽見寧戚那悲戚的歌聲在嗚咽。
睡得香甜直到天明，在牀上輾轉多次；
飯菜可口，吃飽後滿足地撫摸腹部。
在牀頭還聽見糟牀濾酒滴注的聲音，
造物主私下給予我的恩惠，也已經很多了。

Through the woods, the lofty whistle of Sun Deng is echoed;

Sleeping soundly till dawn, I turn over thrice in bed;
Meals so sweet make me stroke my belly with content.
By my pillow, I hear more wine dripping from the vat—
