稻田裡的秧苗剛剛移栽完一遍，
梅雨時節天氣陰沉，尚未放晴。
淡淡的陰雲使茶葉的顏色顯得昏暗，
空氣中殘留的溼氣彷彿哽住了琴聲。
我時常靠近菱角塘邊站立，
還去尋找沙土小徑漫步前行。
我將閉門不出，了卻這一生，
更發誓不再有來世輪迴。

Across the rice fields, the transplanting's just begun;
The plum-rain sky is dull, not yet cleared by the sun.
A light shade dims the hue of the tender tea leaves;
The lingering damp mutes the sound the lute receives.
At times I stand by the water chestnut pond;
And seek again the sandy path to walk along.
I'll shut my door and end my days within this life,
And vow to have no future life of toil and strife.
