江邊郊野，白草在暮色中顯得迷濛；
鄉村酒館的青簾在秋風中懸掛。
估船上的商客們喧譁呼叫，熱鬧非常；
酒家裡的飲客們氣宇軒昂，姿態巍峨。
我難道老了，還要像古人那樣題詩橋柱？
滿懷愁緒，只能獨自倚靠著寺樓。
更令人傷懷的是這昏花澀痛的眼睛，
在煙靄迷濛中，數著歸家的牛羣。

My dim eyes ache the more, alas, in this late year,
Counting returning oxen through the misty sphere.
