劍門關是天然形成的險要關隘，
它北向控制著古代秦國所在的函谷關一帶。
進攻方與防守方固然形勢不同，
但存續與滅亡終究取決於人。
棧道上的雲霧帶著寒意，彷彿要下雨，
關口的柳樹在幽暗中感知到春天已來臨。
我這寄居他鄉的旅客漸漸衰老，
憑靠高處遠眺，不禁心神悽愴。
