故交舊友散落天涯，拂曉留宿的已很稀少；
近年來，唯獨將內心的期許託付給你。
滿床的經史典籍，是我們對談的地方；
也曾並轡騎行，共度萬里風霜的時光。
夜雨滴在空階上，憐惜著獨臥的床榻；
吟詩牽動芳草，夢中回到春日的池塘。
合沙橋下，東流的河水不停奔逝；
那雙鯉魚何時才能躍上我的釣絲？

In recent years, my hopes on you alone are drawn.
We talk amidst the books that fill the bed and floor,
Or ride side by side through wind and frost for miles more.
Raindrops on empty steps pity the lonely bed;
Chanting by fragrant grass, I dream of spring pool's spread.
At Heshā Bridge, the eastern waters ever flow—
When will twin carps rise to the fishing line below?
