隨著官府的文書輾轉人間，我的鬢髮已漸稀疏；
不如歸去耕種，姑且修補我東邊的田角。
用地上腳碓新舂的米在甑中炊煮；
衣衫拆補，用的是舊日繡有天吳海神的圖樣。
有了菜園，便免去官府送菜的煩擾；
聽到敲門聲，反而欣喜是吏員前來徵收田租。
我不愁沒有來客請教文字學問；
只缺像揚雄宅院那樣的一區田地。

Knocking at my door, I'm pleased instead when the tax collector comes for rent.
