兒子說茅草屋頂被捲走了，
僕人稟報蘆葦籬笆也被徹底摧毀。
烏鴉雜亂地擠在溝壑裡，
落葉縱橫交錯，鋪滿了整個園子。
得失盈虧自有天理，就在今晨顯現，
鮮紅的太陽已然升上了我的車軒。

My son reports the thatched roof torn and blown away,

A mess of crows are huddled in the ditch's hold,
