廚房裡飄出筍和豆豉的香氣。
僮僕被安排去鋤菜地，
婢女在學習燒糠做飯。
生活貧苦，任憑青春時光流逝，
閒居之中才明白白晝是如此漫長。
並非我生性偏愛疏懶，
只是無事可做，反倒成就了另一種忙碌。

In poverty, I let my youthful days pass by,

It's not that I love idleness and sloth so dear,
